What is Reiki?
Reiki (Ray-Key) is a palm healing and spiritual practice founded in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.
When a trained person channels reiki they transfer universal energy through their palms onto someone or themselves. Reiki works directly with the energy field, acupuncture and meridian points that run all around the mind & body.
I describe Reiki as ‘coming back home to yourself’. It brings you back out of mind and back into your body.
When you flow, everything else in your life does.
Reiki is for everyone – you don’t need to have symptoms to have reiki!
Energy has no bounds, you can experience Reiki where ever you are in the world. If you live aboard we will align our time zone prior.
What Happens During a Reiki Session?
Every session we talk briefly about how you are feeling and if you would like to work on any symptoms in particular. If you’re new I ask for you to complete a quick consultation form.
You would then lay onto a comfortable bed fully dressed on your back with your eyes closed and I will place my hands above you, starting from your head then down to your feet (or the areas that require reiki the most).
During the session, you might fall asleep, feel cold/tingling/heat/dullness, tiredness, happiness, peaceful or nothing at all.
